Let’s share.
To ensure our work together is smooth and stress-free, I’ve put together a few simple guides for sharing files and granting me access where needed. These step-by-step instructions will help you quickly connect Canva, Google Docs, Dropbox, or Squarespace so I can get to work without delays.
Think of this page as your go-to reference — short, clear, and easy to follow whenever you need it.

Sharing your Squarespace website with Jen
How to add me as an Administrator in Squarespace
Log in to Squarespace and open your site.
Go to Settings → Users & Permissions (sometimes labeled Permissions or Permissions & Ownership).
Click Invite Contributor.
Enter my name and email: [your email here].
Set role to Administrator.
Click Invite. I’ll accept the email invitation to finalize access.
If the invite doesn’t arrive, please check your spam folder and then click Resend from the same screen.
Notes (only if relevant):
If you also want me to help with domains/billing, that’s managed separately under domain permissions.
If your menu shows different wording (older site), the path is still Settings → Permissions → Invite Contributor.
Sharing a Google Doc or File
How to Share a Google Doc or File
Open the file in Google Docs/Sheets/Drive.
In the top right, click the Share button.
Under “General Access,” click the dropdown and select Anyone with the link.
Choose the role:
Viewer (can only read)
Commenter (can leave notes)
Editor (can make changes)
Click Copy Link and paste it into your email to me.
Tip: For project files, “Editor” access usually works best so I can make updates directly.
Sharing Dropbox files.
How to Share a Dropbox File or Folder
Sign in at Dropbox.com and find the file or folder you want to share.
Hover over it and click the Share button (it looks like a person with a plus sign).
In the pop-up, enter my email: [your email here].
Choose the role:
Can View (read-only)
Can Edit (upload or change files)
Click Share to send the invite.
Tip: If you’d rather send a direct link instead of an invite, click “Copy Link” in the same menu and paste it into your email.
Sharing Canva files and/or Brand Kit.
How to Share Your Canva Brand Kit
In Canva, click Brand Hub from the left-hand menu (on the homepage).
Open your Brand Kit (it includes logos, fonts, and color palettes).
In the top right, click Share.
Enter my email: [your email here] and set access to Can Edit.
Click Send Invite.
This gives me access to your logos, fonts, and colors so everything we design stays on-brand.
